Tefeshet is an experienced osteopath with a Master’s degree in Osteopathy from the University College of Osteopathy. She is a Registered Osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council and has a special interest in paediatric, cranial, and obstetric osteopathy. Her approach to care is gentle, holistic, and centred on supporting the body’s natural ability to heal.
During her early clinical practice and having her own children, Tefeshet developed a strong passion for working with babies, children, and new mothers. She went on to complete postgraduate training with the Osteopathic Centre for Children (OCC), where she gained extensive experience treating newborns, children, and pre- and post-natal women. She regularly supports babies with common concerns such as birth trauma, feeding difficulties, reflux, and colic. Alongside her paediatric work, she also supports women throughout pregnancy and the postnatal period, helping them manage physical discomfort, recover after birth, and adapt to the physical demands of motherhood.
Tefeshet also works with adults experiencing musculoskeletal complaints, including back pain, joint issues, and postural problems. She has a particular interest in supporting adult recovering from sports injuries, office workers managing ergonomic-related discomfort or poor posture, and anyone looking to improve stress management. She uses a combination of osteopathic treatment, sports massage, and taping to help restore function, relieve pain, and support overall wellbeing.
Tefeshet is particularly passionate about infant feeding and whole-family wellbeing, recognising the importance of supporting parents, especially during the early postnatal period. She currently runs free drop-in infant feeding support sessions in collaboration with a lactation consultant, offering practical guidance and support to address feeding challenges and help improve breastfeeding outcomes in the early stages. Tefeshet places strong emphasis on inclusive family care, acknowledging the emotional and mental wellbeing of both parents and supporting dads as they adapt to their new role, so families feel confident, supported, and able to fully enjoy and embrace their new lifestyle.
Outside of the clinic, Tefeshet enjoys cooking, travelling, and spending quality time with her partner and two boys.
