Florence Byers

Physiotherapist and Osteopath

Florence is a Physiotherapist and Graduate Osteopath with a first-class honours degree from the University of Liverpool and postgraduate training at the University College of Osteopathy. She has a passion for musculoskeletal health and takes a full-body, holistic approach to treatment, blending evidence-based exercise prescription with hands-on manual therapy.

Her clinical experience spans NHS settings, private practice, and sporting events, including supporting runners with post-event recovery at the London Marathon. Florence’s background as a tennis coach has shaped her dynamic, movement-focused approach, allowing her to create tailored rehabilitation and performance strategies for athletes and active individuals of all levels.

When you come to see Florence, you can expect a friendly, collaborative approach. She works closely with each patient to understand their goals and lifestyle, then develops achievable, relevant solutions and exercise programmes to address their specific needs. Her aim is not just to relieve pain but to empower patients with the tools and confidence to improve long-term health and performance.

Sport has always been central to Florence’s life. She grew up as a competitive tennis player, went on to captain her university women’s tennis team, and still enjoys coaching today. Alongside tennis, she is a keen runner and swimmer, and loves the balance and energy that being active outdoors brings. These experiences continue to fuel her belief that movement is not only vital for health, but also a lifelong source of enjoyment and resilience.
